My local Ace hardware store has an RT 1400 on sale right now for $1025.
Which is a pretty good deal from what I've seen them sell for.
I almost bought it yesterday, I really dislike the horn handles, they are kinda cheaply made. If I do go get it, the first thing I will do is replace the horns with a stainless steel handicap grab bar that spans the majority of the lid.
(Not a fan of the horn handles at all.)

That is a killer price! Not sure if they changed the horns but mine on the 1250 are beefy and heavy! They could double as a hammer. The horns seemed odd to me before I got one now they are right at home!

They must have, because these were nothing even close to hammer like. LOL!!!
Not a dealbreaker by any means, I have just never cared for the look. And I like a full length handle.
