Is this expanded metal galvanized?

Just wondering if the expanded metal was galvanized? It looks like it is just shot blasted but want to make sure.

I would say no. Looks to dark for galvanized.

If you have any doubts, heat it up with a propane torch. if it's galvanized you will smell and see the coating burn off when it gets hot enough.

In my experience, expanded metal is never galvanized.

After welding on it, it is a low grade stainless. Kind of had a brain dead moment when I first posted about it. Thanks for everybody help.
