Just curious if there is any way to get rid of replies you start typing out, and then decide to not post. I've tried deleting and cutting, but when I go back into the tread it shows up grey'd out. I tried deleting multiple times and it just keeps showing back up.

I'll give it a whirl. Well I didn't reboot, but I did log-off cleared my history and cache and it was still here.

Tried deleting using the backspace key and it still shows up. Deleting works until the little pop-up shows up and says draft saved.

Thanks.

Did you try deleting it with the backspace key, then hitting post reply.
Just guessing here. Or just go back & edit it & post it.
Probably the person to PM is Jeff TulsaJeff TulsaJeff , he would know what to tell you.

How about opening it up & deleting it letter by letter.

I've highlighted, then deleted.
But personally, I like the shadow reminder. Sometimes I spend a bit of time and effort on a post, then find later that I didn't actually post it by the shadow reminding me. They aren't always due to Senior Moments, either.
(I have various distractions along the way, sometimes 3 Grandkids wanting Grandpa to help them with their websites, like ABCYa! Or Sonnnnyyyy, can you help me? Grandpa, can we go on the Trampoline?)
There are a lot of things I find quite nice with the way SMF works.

Another way to get rid of drafts is to roll a towel, then lay it against the bottom of the drafting door or window. ;)

Thanks Dave, I'll give it try next time.
