Is it necessary to brine a turkey with a 9.5% solution added?

The past 4 thanksgivings I have brined my turkeys. This year time got away on me and I have not yet brined them. The two 14lb turkeys I purchased have a 9.5% solution of turkey broth, salt and sugar.  Will brining increase the moisture of these birds?

I plan to inject them with Tony C's butter creole marinade.

Tuesday night already, time to brine if you were going to.

But I am quite sure if you wait for answers, by far you will get - "they are already "brined", no more brining needed".       Marc

I agree with Marc and since you plan to Inject you will just be covering/overpowering any flavors you add with your Brine anyway. Inject, let it rest a day in the refer, uncovered, for the injection to disperse and the Skin to dry. Mix your fav Rub with butter or bacon grease and apply under and on the skin. You will get a pretty and flavor packed Turkey...JJ

I had a "pre" brined turkey one year and decided to brine it with my own juice. The result was an amazing turkey that was gone before the main dinner. I would brine if you have the time for 24 hours because other turkeys I smoked that are "pre" brined just don't come out with that juicy breast meat I like.

I buy Butterball turkeys, because they are already brined.

Then I inject them with Tony C's.
