I work in the service dept. of a car dealership. A co-worker from the sales dept comes down to ask for the keys to a certain car, while I am getting the keys he says "If the car stays down here too long you will probably turn it into a smoker" So I guess I am the crazy smoker guy at work. I have brought in leftovers before to share with a couple people and have people at work ask me "what are you gonna smoke this weekend?" but I didn't know I was the crazy guy. I am ok with it, I was just wondering if any of you are the "crazy smoker" at work????

I live on the nursery, where I work.I'm the guy that disapears every hour to go check the temps and add wood, yeah I guess they think I'm strange.

I'm the "crazy farmer"!! No one understands why I would "want ta do all that work"!!! LOL!!

Every Monday I always bring in some kind of leftovers for lunch from the weekend smoke or grill. I'm known as the "cook", others are known as the "golfer", "gardener" and "airhead". Guess which one of us is considered the crazy one.

I don't bring much to work for sharing except for one friend - in a site of 4,000 people, it doesn't get noticed (except for the smell they KNOW didn't come from our Aramark cafeteria!).

But, when my wife takes goodies to work, and uses either microwave or toaster oven for reheating, she gets a steady stream of admirers. Her coworkers always want to know when we're going to have another BBQ at the house - they don't mind the drive to the country. Had people from as far as Uvalde, and there's one guy that flies his plane down form Denton for the weekend!

I must be on the right track here...

I too am the crazy smoker.

The two questions I'm asked every week are "what are you smoking this weekend" and "when are you gonna bring some more food in?"

I used to be the crazy smoker guy. Now, the same people who'd call me that show up early and bring ribs and other meats to take advantage of the smoke and so they can take some "crazy" smoked meat home. This, of course, in exchange for my favorite beer.

We sit around, talk bs, listen to good music, drink beer, and aromatize the neighborhood. And then we eat good. I don't know about you all but to me that's the best r&r there is.

This is a condition I WILL admit to, my mind is so full of smoke Ms. BBQFANS (my Tricia), says if I bumpped my head there would be clouds of smoke escaping!LOL Fact is though, I always do way too much when I crank-er up and the Nurses and Aides at her job get leftovers and snacks for Potluck at least once a week or so. She brings home Kudos everytime, and usually someone ask if I'd do something for them,soooo...
And that's why Trish is jealous of my "Flo" girl- the "other woman" in my life!!!LOL

Went to my wifes company golf outing last weekend. After the lunch we were making the rounds and one of the ladies that tried some of my brisket loudly exclaimed " Phil !!! I LOVE YOUR MEAT !!!! " And ran up and gave me a big hug

After the blushes drained from my wifes and her husbands faces we all had a good chuckle.
