Introduction

Hello all,

I am pretty new to smoking, going on about 4 months now. I however have been an avid griller for over 16 years. Grilling out all year long in any kind of weather. I use propane for the grilling and Have my ECB for smoking. The propane is because I used to work for a gas company and well, know pretty much all there is to know about that. I go through 8 to 10 tanks of gas a year. As far as the ECB, well I wanted something that I knew worked and was cheap, just to get started. I have been looking for something a little better and will make that move sometime. Kinda funny $900 gas grill, $30 smoker. I have been really looking at the char griller pro.

welcome to smf. both the chargriller & the ecb are great tools- thechargriller will definitely teach you things, what w/ fire tending & just love of a big black monster on the porch. welcometo the smoking world. be sure to post your Qview s & if you have questions just ask.

i have a ecb gourmet.........and you wouldn't believe the q i have turned out on it............butts, briskets, corn on the cob, abts, meatloaf, beer shoved up the butt of a chicken, fatties, and the list goes on..........i would like to move up to a stick burner when i when the lottery.........

but peculiar mike uses one.........and i THINK TulsaJeff has one.........
