Im a very much amateur smoker using a small charbroil smoker my exwife bought me when i returned from iraq 4 years ago. Ive been smoking meats with it since with some good results. Im also a forester with excellent knowledge of wood types. Im always in search of more knowledge and plan on upgrading my smoker soon. I hope this forum will provide a wealth of information.

Thank you everyone for the quick replys. I signed up for the e course and look forward to reading it. I also learned that i still have a lot to learn when i accedently brined my pork chops with my apple vinger mop i use for pork shoulders. If you like chops the taste like smoked vinger then they turned out great. Lol
