My dad got me the same one so I can make venison and elk jerky for him. I like the single strip and the round one but didn't like the double strip one...just couldn't get it to come out evenly. Other than that it worked great
 
Roger that.  Just read it.  Seems to be an ok gadget for a quick batch of sticks.  Have you tried making jerky with it as of yet?

I have a cheap one like that too and it work just OK. The pain is filling it 5 times for a batch of jerky  
 
Not sure on the one Nepas has but mine is like a caulking gun
