Hello from Eastern Ventura County in Southern California. I have been grilling and barbecuing for most of my adult life. I consider myself very good Q'er. I started smoking meat about 3 years ago using a offset smoker. I never had very good luck with the offset. I had a really hard time maintain a constant temperature, therefore the product was not the quality I was looking for . Last year I purchased a Masterbuilt Pro Propane/wood smoker. Everything I've smoked has been outstanding. Also I have built a BBQ unit that is 10' long and 40" wide. I installed both a Bull 5 burner w/ 90,000 BTU and a 36"x 24" Santa Maria Style grill. Along with the smoker and the grills I'm set and have the best of all the BBQ worlds.
