was looking at a recipe  and it calls for "Prague Powder #1"  is this the same as  "Cure #1" that i purchased from butcher& Packer?

As Craig's link showed you, that stuff goes by different names.

Just be careful.  Exchanging for a different cure in another recipe can be dangerous.
