Does anyone know of any pit builders in the northern part of IL?

There is a place in Peoria called Peoria Custom Cookers. I don't know anyone who has one of there smokers, but they look to be pretty nice pits. You may take a look at their website.

They do have some nice stuff and I did call them unfortunately they are a bit above my price range. Their smallest unit is larger than I'd want.

Mecca isn't far from norther IL.....it's about 6 hours from here to Chicago.

Was by there the other day to pick up a thermometer and they had two of the small smokers sitting in the office.

Don't know of a "pit builder" but I do know a few great welders, fabricators and machinest that could build you what ever you want. Contact me if your interested
