That is why SC is on my radar for a southern retirement house in a few years. I can handle a $900K house in Blufton with taxes and HOA of $8k or less per year. Don't worry, I am not a "Blue" state voter...lol Will also probably have a place in NH near my son (daughter wants Boston) to be near them in the warmer months.
