I won't bother giving play by play, the pictures do it for me.
The meat is the leftover New York strip, from last night porterhouses.

My happy camper, I'm blessed.

Thanks for looking, once again.

Dan.

nothing like slicing left over thin and whipping up (even the box variety) fettuccini Alfredo with steak on top.

Heck Yeah! Sure is a pretty lady. I been making extra stuff lately just for the pressure cooker dishes.
Thank you, Brian, I married my best friend's little sister. They are both a few yrs older than me, I had a crush on her when I was in high school, she got married a yr after she graduated H.S, and it killed me. Thank God her husband was a douche bag, so they divorced, that's when I made my move. LOL
We've been married 25 yrs, together for almost 30 yrs, we are best friends, we do everything together, and she ALWAYS catches the biggest fish.

I took her Skeet shooting, because she wanted to go Pheasant hunting and duck hunting with me to watch our last male yellow Lab work. Her first round of skeet she shot a 22 out of 25, I couldn't believe it. It took me a while before I was shooting high 20s in skeet, and she did it her first time shooting my 12 GA that was WAY too big for her... I wasn't thrilled about it. LOL!!!
Thank God she gets cold easily, and likes to sleep in on her 4 days off so she didn't want to hunt with me after her first time, I was so glad that I took her on a storm day, because I didn't want my wife out shooting me in the field. I would've never heard the end of it from my hunting partners. LOL She loved helping me work our last dog though, She loves animals, she's been an R.T.V. Registered Veterinary Technician, for both large and small animals for over 45 yrs. she's a tough little cowgirl, and STRONG!!!!!

I don't know what I did to win her over, she said it's because I made her laugh. I still joke about it had to be my paychecks, back then I was working lots of OT as a union Pipefitter, and Plumber, so the checks were real good ones. I'm retired now, and she hasn't left me yet. LOL

She doesn't get sea sick, and I do, I'll be hurling over the rail, and I'll hear her yell, "I got another one Danny" I'll look up, and her fish are always bigger than mine. She is a trooper, she's caught Salmon over 30 lbs, Albacore over 40 lbs, and a Sturgeon that was over 6' long. I don't know how she doesn't get pulled overboard, she's tiny, 5'3'' 104lbs soaking wet. I am very blessed to be married to such a trooper.

All of my buddies always tell me that I don't deserve her. LOL!!!

Leftover steak never usually happens in our house,I'm one of those that gets up in the middle of the night and eats the rest of it cold and then Jane complains the next morning about the mess I leave behind!

Nice channel cat, I haven't fished for catfish in many yrs, I need to change that soon. When the rains start and the river gets muddied up, I'll drift live bluegill for them in the delta this year. I live 10 minutes away from the convergence of the Sacramento and San Joaquin rivers, the delta.

" The Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta located in Northern California is one of the largest estuaries in western North America. It is formed by the confluence of the Sacramento River from the north and the San Joaquin River from the southeast"

I was born and raised at the base of this Mt/ Mt Diablo, and still live here.

Brian, I was always the guy that said I'm never getting married, I pretty much always had long term girlfriends from jr high all the way till my 30s, Then Carol came back into the singles world. Her brother and her dad were my fishing and hunting partners, my whole life. When Carol was going through her divorce, and her father was dying of cancer, so she moved home with her parents to help her mother with her dying father. Fortunately for me, I lived right around the corner from her parents, and I was always bringing her father weed to help him eat, and sleep. I'm not a pot smoker, I would get it from guys at work, then bring it over to her parents house when I got home.
That way, I could hang out with her dad and bro, to talk fishing and hunting, and start working on getting a date with Carol. It worked, we started dating, and she moved in with me about a month into it. I feel blessed that I was able to sit her mom and dad down together to ask them for their blessing on our intended engagement a year after we started dating, and living together. I don't know what I would do without her in my life these days, when my back has me down and out, and I don't feel like leaving the house, she will give me that look, like get off your sorry ass and take me out of this house, she isn't very subtle about things, and I love that about her.

Brian, there is always hope, my uncle didn't get married until he was 66 yrs old, and my bro in law until he was 59 yrs old. Start getting involved with church functions ASAP!!! As my bro in law would always say, they are a target rich environment. LOL.

Normally I do the same thing, for some strange reason, I actually slept that night. I never sleep a full night, I don't know what got into me.

Oh, yes, I do Tequila, and a soak in the hot tub.LOL!!!
