Two weeks in a row now the family and I have gone out for breakfast. My son has ordered pancakes and when asked "bacon or sausage?" has always correctly answered bacon. However, after taking a few bites of the bacon, he decides that he doesn't want it anymore. When this happened yesterday my wife and I were taken back a little bit. It's not like him to turn down bacon. We usually have to stop him from eating everyone elses. When we tasted the bacon he was given, it became clear what the problem was. THE STORE BOUGHT BACON TASTES LIKE ARSE!
I know you all said that once you start making bacon at home you will never be able to go back to store bought, but I didn't think it would happen to me. He is only 2.5 years old and I think I have ruined him for ever. I will be making home made bacon for the rest of my life now. I will have to teach him when he gets older so that he can carry on the tradition.
