I can't replicate this quality, nor for the price

Displaced Texan in Door County WI
I had to take a run to Milwaukee last week, and had to stop at my favorite sausage maker, Usinger's, while there.  Been churning out amazing products since 1880--yes 1880, not 1980--and for what I can get there, I can't touch the quality or the pricing.  I wanted to take some pictures and post them here, but they wouldn't allow me to shoot photos while inside, but all I can say is that when you walk in the door, it's like you're walking back into time.  They supply all the sausage for the annual Germanfest in Milwaukee, which is the largest gathering of Germans anywhere outside of Germany, so they know a thing or two about their meats.

Anyway, here's the bounty:

Left side are two packs of applewood smoked bacon ($2.79/#), bottom two are fresh brats ($2.89/#) , center packs are apple & gouda brats ($0.99/#), right middle are German all-beef wieners ($2.49/#), and upper middle/right packs are pre-cooked brats ($2.09/#).  The pre-cooked are the Coburg/Bavarian style, and what are served at Germanfest.  I forgot to add that there was a pound chub of their sauerkraut:  I don't typically like the stuff, but this is outstanding.

Tax, title, license, I was out the door for $35.79 and just under 15 pounds:  as much as I enjoy doing sausage at home, I can't touch this quality for that price.  If you get to Milwaukee, it's well worth a stop.

I'm digging a hole under your fence.
Best keep your head down:  I only miss once.
