Yes, still very cold, finally got some decent southern winds.
As far south the cold weather hit, it will be a long slow warm up this week.

I can tell my wife is tired of it, too. Last night she asked me if it will be warm enough today to just grill some burgers

Been super cold here in Northern Arkansas. Staying very cold too. Been below freezing for a week now. Snow too. Lots of snow. Been having fun though!

I got lucky and still have power. I know several people been without for over a day now and several others only have it short times because of the rolling blackouts. Made this long drive today into work today but with this next storm coming probably not tomorrow. Only few showed up today and they paid us for yesterday that we missed due to weather.

Well the sun has mostly been out for 2 days now, temps got into the low 50's, but that's over for a few days anyway. Clouding up and rain coming....AGAIN. Nothing like some of you are experiencing, but nasty for us, nonetheless....

I was texting a friend and commenting on what extended cold temperatures will create.

A gas furnace exhaust created a frozen stalamite.

This one reminds me of a little trick that worked for me during the 31" of snow we got last week:
The snow stacked up on my Heat Pump Blades.
The last time that happened, once the ambient temp gets up to 34° my Heat Pump takes over from my back-up gas heater. But the Fan won't turn---It just jerks back & forth. So last time I slid a wire through the grill & worked it until I got the snow off the blades. It was a PITA & took a long time.

This time I got a Brainstorm:
The Heat Pump is right outside my Kitchen window, so I turned the Hot Water Spigot on & pulled my Sink Sprayer out, stuck it out the window & hosed the Fan blades off for a minute or 2. Problem Solved---Blades all clean & Spinning away!!!
Smarter than the Average Bear!!!
