Hey all ,glad I found this place I have been prowling around for a couple days . Im new to smoking stuff other than a few turkeys and chickens but Im looking to expand my horizons a bit . I had a 8X10 steel shed given to me over the weekend that we intend on doing some cold smoking in , I put it on a concrete slab I have ceiling hangers made for sausages and looking to put some wire rack shelving in it . I have tons of questions but I will keep prowling to find them so I dont get bothersome . My main plan is to smoke some bacon , hams, sausages and deer sausages. Biggest questions I have is curing the meat, never been down that road.
