Would help to know what part of town you will be in. Houston is really quite a large town with MANY really good places to eat BBQ.

Well it was a hectic couple of days, and I didn't have much time to find a Q joint. The poop-water burg I was in had no bbq. Finally found a Place called "Pappas" on the way back to the airport. It's chain of bbq resturants around Houston. I really wanted to find a hole in the wall joint somewhere. Anyway, this place was pretty good, albeit pretty commercialized. Got a plate full of Texas Q'd brisket. It was really good. It was the highlight of the whole miserable trip, except for walking in my front door at midnight last night.
