Not sure if anyone has made a mod to their choo-choo train style wheels on their offset smoker but I need to make a change. I have the Horizon 16 with the steel spoke rims and I think the smoker runs around 400+lbs. With an old driveway I did not care about the grooves in the surface but we now have a new driveway and now we care a bit more. I also am having some shoulder issues and because I move the smoker in and out of the garage, I need an easier smoother way. Also have a 1.5" lip at the garage entrance so casters on all 4 won't work, I need a bigger tire for the front two wheels.

I was either going to add some type of 13" never flat wheel with bearing, or, I was thinking maybe I could epoxy some 2" wide rubber conveyer belt or some type of flexible 2" polyurethane product to the existing steel wheels. This would be best as it would keep the backwoods look of the smoker but rubber wheels may be physically easier. I also want to add 2 heavy duty pivoting casters to the front two legs. I guess my whole goal is to be able to just push it, not lift and push like now.

I'm open to any blue sky suggestions, I just need to make this easier and less destructive, but still mobile where I can just push and pull and no lifting. Thanks, Jason.
