Ok, this is my 1st post. Has anyone ever used a Horizon Smoker drop in convection plate in a char griller? I have a Char-Griller Duo and it looks like the 20" Horizon Convection will fit in the charcoal side, it may need to be cut a little to fit lengthwise.

Well had to Cut off a inch and a half to fit the pit but it was well worth the work. Took the two grates that came with the SFB payed them in the bottom of the bottom and the convection plate on top perfect!! Loaded the basket with royal oak and lit it up. Closed the damper almost all the way the stack wide open.. Got 235 on left side and 245 on right for 4 hours..
