This article popped across my news feed today.


I really hope this can break the meat processing cartel you have there.

Farmers should be able to process their own produce and not be held to ransom by the big 4. I don't think it will mean cheaper beef at the checkout, but perhaps if the farmers get rewarded for what they do, you'll get better American beef and your heard numbers will rise.

How it effects me in Australia. We send so much beef to the US and China, our prices are way too high and we also have the big processors here too. It's not a good thing.
