Planned on smoking a rack of ribs later today. We are having high winds in south eastern PA. I have an MES 30. Will the winds effect the smoker??

Thanks

Even if it does, you can set up something for a windbreak.

Doesn't need to be some huge big deal, just block the wind from it.

Like drive your pickup up beside it.

Have fun.

The MES is a smoker that is minimally affected by the wind.

However if you have the mailbox mod then the wind blowing at it, may be a problem.

As Ed said a wind break would be a good idea.
