Hi guys got a couple of newbie questions here. So I am new to smoking, in fact so new I haven't even smoked anything yet. I just acquired the Masterbuilt Smoker Mod 20070612 electric smoker from Home Depot. I have read that the thermometer supplied with these cheaper units are not reliable so what do you guys suggest for an upgrade. Also can anyone recommend a good meat thermometer?

Any other advice would be appreciated.

Cheers

Ian

BTW by the time you read this I will have seasoned this as per the manual.
