hi mountain cure

I'm looking to make a batch of jerky and going a different route then the hi mountain powder. I'd like to make a marinade and have a packet of the hi mountain cure. Could I use this cure instead of #1 cure? Do I follow the hi mountain directions for amount of cure or treat it as #1 for the amount of meat?

Use the directions that come with the Hi Mountain cure always follow the directions for the particular cure your using
