Anyways. I got a Masterbuilt smoker for Christmas, did a few briskets in it, have kept it clean, just put a brisket in, and twenty minute later the whole thing was engulfed in flames. anyone else have this problem?

Welcome, and sorry about your incident.  There was someone else over the weekend that had the same thing happen, but it was a Master Forge smoker that decided to self-incinerate.  Absolutely get their service folks involved and don't take any answer other than a complete replacement:  that is, if you want to go that route again.

Wow that's a bummer!

Was it a gas or electric smoker?

Anyhow welcome to SMF!
