Welcome to smf! Always nice to see a fellow Tennessean on here! Lots of good advice and friendly folks! Tip #1...get the Amaze-n-smoker for your Masterbuilt! My wife got me one for fathers day and I love it!
Great tip! I didn't see he has an electric. You will see it a lot around here as an AMNPS and is sold by one of the forum sponsors http://www.amazenproducts.com/  it provides perfect smoke and works Great in electric smokers!

Welcome Nick! Glad to see someone
just down the road a piece.
I cut my teeth smoking with a Brinkmann
electric bullet several years ago and
you can do some good stuff with an electric!
They are tough during the winter and mine
had nice "air gaps" but like any cooker,
once you figure out the cooker itself, you
can do some nice smoking!

I got the bug after owning that a few seasons
and got a Stumps about a year or so later
and about to pull the trigger on a 250R.

Welcome!
