Hey everyone,
My name is Ben and I am a newbie to smoking. I have been grilling for about 20 years but never even considered smoking until talking with a coworker about the advantages and relaxation it offers. I am anxious to get started. My daughter got me a masterbuilt pro dual fuel for an early Christmas present today and I assembled it with silicone door seals and already had an extra cast iron skillet for the wood. I will be smoking a butt in it tomorrow, all I got done today was assembly and seasoning after a day of black friday shopping.......

So far so good, this is before putting it in the smoker. Been in for about 30 minutes now

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a cool, foggy and damp day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.

Looks Great !!
