Very happy to have found this site! Some quick stats

1) 57 years young

2) Live in western Pa near Pittsburgh and cook outdoors regardless of weather!

3) I have 3 grills and 2 smokers with all but one made by me! My smoker is a New Braumfels offsetel-Cheapo starter

    smoker. Going to replace it w/a Oklahoma Joe Offset smoker this week. Going to modify it right out of the gate.

4) I love cooking all kinds of meats with favorite being Pork Ribs (St Louis style are my favorites) and big pork shoulders!

5) I use a LOT of lump charcoal and hickory, cherry, apple, maple and sassafras!

6) I'm married with 2 great kids who love my BBQ

7) I mountain bike and white water kayak

8) I am a former sheet metal mechanic and now do sales for a sheet metal fabrication company.

9) I am also a knife maker!

Thanks for having me on this site! I hope to be able to contribute as I have been cooking outdoors for most of my life!
