Hello all, new to the forum but not new to grilling, que and smoke. I live in Fresno California and have 3 basic units ghat I use. My go to favorite is the Pit Barrel Cooker. 2nd is a Masterbilt electric smoker with smoke generated by a Smoke Daddy Pellet Pro Smoke Ring...I've completely eliminated using Masterbilt's built in smoke chip tube because it sucks. The Pellet Pro Smoke Ring is just a simple, easy to use smoke generator and with just a little experimenting, you can literally adjust the amount of smoke time you need for your cook. I fully recommend adding the inexpensive Pellet Pro Smoke Ring to your outdoor grilling tool chest. My 3rd unit is the Char Griller Duo with the addition of the side fire box for indirect heat smoking. This unit is great for gas grilling and smoking medium amounts of protiens like chicken wings, thighs, tri tips, pork loins, etc...but it does require more of attention [/quote]
Most Masterbuilt owners use an Amazing Smoker, which does that same thing, is built to last, and comes from a Great Sponsor of this Site.

Thanks. I've been eyeing the Amaze-N-Smoker and others for a long time but I liked the sturdiness, the design and simplicity of the Smoke Daddy Pellet Pro Cold Smoker Ring and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did because it does a great job...but had I not purchased it I definitely would have purchased one of the Amaze-N-Smoker units.
