Dave, from Liberty county, Texas. I've been messing around with outdoor cooking most of my life. Started out life in the backyard cooking over an open fire. I've got an Outdoor Gourmet offset wood/charcoal smoker that I've used for years, a weber spirit propane grill that I absolutely love and now I'm waiting on a Camp Chef 24" Vault that I've ordered to arrive. I love smoking ribs but the offset smoker requires a lot of attention. I'm looking for something I don't have to babysit. I don't drink so I don't want to sit around and wait on the meat. I've been lurking around this site and one other for quite some time and finally decided to become a little more serious. I've gotten the e-course, bought Jeff's book and recipes, subscribed to the newsletter and now I'm ready to learn more and enjoy the fruits of my labor, I'm looking forward to hear what you guys have to say.
