Hey everyone !
So lets see , a little about me. My name is Matthew and I live about 30ish minutes away from Los Angeles. I work for a Geotechnical / Geology design company doing construction field inspection with a stronger emphasis in Soils (can do other inspections just like soils better). I was taught the amazing art of BBQ while in the army over 15 yrs ago. Just recently over the Thanksgiving weekend I was introduced to smoking. Since then my wife allowed me to buy a Masterbuilt 30'' electric smoker - Don't judge you know the wives run the house. Since purchasing the smoker I have tried every weekend to use it. So far I've smoked a tri-trip , pulled pork , and as I type this I have 2 briskets going. I have to say that I LOVE smoking. My wife has also praised herself for allowing me to indulge in this new hobby. Mostly because she gets to eat all the goodness without having to cook herself. Next weekend I'm going to try and smoke some of the Yellow tail tuna I have on hand. Well thanks for reading and allowing me to introduce myself.
