Hello everyone
I have a Holland Grill Wrangler that can also do a small amount of smoking. Lately I haven't used the grill as a smoker and I'm actually wanting to get some higher temps out of it to do some searing. if you are familiar with the Holland grill line, they are not designed to be higher temp searing grills... so instead of getting rid of a perfectly good grill, I'm considering doing some modifications I wanted to run past the community... In addition to the propane burner, I'm considering adding a 1500w electric burner to the inside of the grill to boost the temps up to the levels I need. I already have a PID box for my electric smoker that would work perfectly for this case too, i just wanted to see if you all thought adding the element inside the grill would work for my needs? Anyone ever done this?
Thanks
