Hello,
Just stopping by here for alittle introduction. My name is Tony (screen name is another story), I'm from Central Massachusetts. I've been looking around the site here for awhile and really think you guys have a great thing going here and hope I can slowly become a part of the :yahoo:community! Which brings me to my project. I've been cooking on an Oklahoma Joes smoker for a few years now, with great success. However, this summer I decided to have my first pig roast, I borrowed a cooker from my friends father and cooked my first whole hog. I had a blast doing it, it came out incredible, and I fell in love with the cooker! I knew I had my winter project planned! He build and designed the cooker himself and said he'd be glad to help me build one this winter. Its made from two 275 gal oil tanks and has a rotisserie, along with side side box, a slide out charcoal tray under the main grates, and the option to cook with gas via 4 36" burners. This makes it an extremely versitle cooker. I'm looking forward to starting the project and getting back into fabrication! When I make some progress, I'll start a thread detailing the journey, just wanted to say a not so quick hello in here first, thanks for looking! Oh, anyone else in here from Mass?
