Hey everyone! relative newb finnaly joined up

Hello everyone! I'm Jeff from just outside Winnipeg Canada. I have to admit ive been coming to this forum for a few months as a guest and finally decided to join up. Im pretty new to smoking with an actual smoker (ive played with a small smoke box on my bbq a lot but never really noticed a substancial difference). This spring I found a decent deal on a masterbuilt 30" and its been awesome. I'm not gonna get into the whole debate about electrics being garbage everyone has their preferences but for a starter unit what's wrong with them . I've really loved a lot of the info available here and look forward to adding to it and really enjoying  the results. Thanx everyone and see you around the virtual smokehouse.

Lots of MES owners here.

The Bearcarver  has pretty extensive list of recipes

pretty much all were done on the MES.

Just go to the top of the page to the search and type in Bear steps.

Then follow on to Bears step by steps.

They are great.

Remember, pictures of your smokes are good things.
