Hey SMF gang , just watched the updated weather and it looks like hurricane Noel is heading for a direct hit on my city of Saint John N.B ,forcasting 3 plus inches of rain and 85 mph winds , usually not too much hurricane action here , last one was Juan a couple years back which hit Halifax N.S ... rain and winds just starting now , gotta get out for necessities .....A.K.A..... BEER .....hopefully the power won't be off long and the roof stays on

,food and heat I can manage with the woodstove .... but gotta have power to fuel my SMF addiction

Everyone smoke an extra piece of whatever for me this weekend , sadly I'll be missing the TBS here .

Thanks guy's for all the well wishes , just back from the beer store and some snacks from the grocery store ,man o man they're cleaned out of everything ...rainin hard no real wind yet

Just checked the weather and it has passed through already ... hard to find info on it as it is already history.
Highest wind I read was in the mid 70s mph so I wouldnt expect more than some good firewood out of it and power outages ... perhaps that's why he hasn't checked in with us yet.

Well folkes ...all is well here ....didn't even score any woods for smokin

...but I guess that's really a good thing

...sorry I didn't check in sooner ,,,but spent the day cutting n packaging 5 sides of beef and 16 deer with a few friends ....


and yes Squeezy we had plenty of frosty adult beverages
