I have 9 lb precooked pork shoulder that I thought I would smoke. Can you smoke something already cooked.

Howdy!  I know things can get a bit confusing here when you are excited and really need some help.

Could you post this question in the pork part of the forums?  I cant move this thread here in this part for you. Linguica gave you solid info. Others in that part can help too.  Here is a link:  http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/f/100/pork

Good luck with the smoke!  Hope that gets more answers!

I went ahead and moved it.

I have smoked pre-smoked spiral sliced hams before just to heat them up and add a little fresh smoke to them so you should be just fine!

I see this is your first post here so when you get a minute could you stop by "Roll Call" and introduce yourself so we can give you a proper SMF Welcome, Thanks!
