Good afternoon. My local grocery store had a great sale today on Pork shoulder picnic. They were $0.66 per pound. I picked up two ten pounders.. I need some tips and advice on how to prepare and how to smoke these. I am brand new to smoking meats and need all the help I can get. Thank you for the help. Me and my family appreciate it. !! I will  make sure to post pics when I smoke it to let everyone know how it turns out.

Ht More info needed

Type of smoker

What are you making Pulled Pork or Chopped

Sorry forgot to post that. I have a smoke hollow electric smoker and I'm thinking pulled pork but I'm open to suggestions. Thank you !

Okay That makes a little better I have an MES so electric

I recommend PP get a good digital probe monitor the meat temp, try for 200*f internal temp

Probe the meat with a tooth pick when it hits 195* if the tooth picks slides in no resistance it should be good to pull.

Check out JJs finishing sauce
