Help[ for a friend at Christmas!

A friend posted this on another forum and I wanted to post this here and see if anyone could spare the time to help out. I have permission to post this from the family.


Hey folks. Can y’all help me with this. My friend has a son with Down’s syndrome and he’s an awesome kid. He brings so much joy to everyone around him. He loves getting Christmas cards… I mean LOVES getting them. Every day he runs out to the mailbox hoping to get a card from different states. He’s got a map and puts pins in the cities he gets cards from.
Can y’all help me by sending him a card from where you are? I can’t tell you how much joy it would bring him.

I have a niece that has Down's as well.... she is a blast... Blake might have to start doing towns now instead of states... we'll flood his mailbox...

Will try to help out here. What is his favorite thing ie character, game, pet, animal, etc.. I make my own cards. Will do something special.

If you get the chance, ask your friend to take a pic of the map. It would be nice to see how many cards Blake got & from where.

Also, I'll spread the word. Let's see if we can flood Blake's mailbox.

We will be sending Blake a card next time we go to town. Friend in AZ has a step son with Downs....Marshall is a blast to hang around. Last time I was down there we were watching TV and Marshall fell asleep. We seen his Mom coming into the neighborhood and put the TV on a porn channel and took off out to the garage, going in the house with her. His reaction when his Mom caught him watching porn was hilarious. Marshall is in his late 20's, lives on his on and works 40 hours a week. Marshall has a girl friend, my buddy has a good time goofing on him about her. Marshall is one of the most genuine folks I have ever met...

His Mom says he loves the Dallas Cowboys.Thanks for the extra effort, I know he will love it.

I will copy his address along with your post (If I may?),  and post it to my own forums.  My members love helping too.

As this get passed from forum to forum across the net, I imagine he will be having his own mail delivery truck soon coming to his door.

I will also pray for his and his family's happiness and cheer.

My nephew has Downs, and as others have said about someone they know, he is absolutely the happiest kid I've ever known. He doesn't know what a bad day is. I would wish that for anyone. Count on one more card coming Blake's way.
