New Years Eve, join a message board that's what you do right?

Hi,

I'm Bryan Melton from Little Rock AR. I've recently, this summer, gotten into the smoking (BBQ) type of cooking. A friend of mine invited me to help with his competition team and it kind of pushed me to try something I've always wanted to do.

I've got a Masterbuilt Electric smoker and have so far attempted ribs, chicken, and turkey all of which tuned out very well, if I don't say so myself.

I found this board looking for recommendations for smoking a venison back strap, which I found and cooked this morning (it resting so I've still got my fingers crossed).

Looking forward to asking questions and basically reading a bunch of stuff from you guys that have been at this a long time.

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a rainy day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people          with tons of information on just about everything.
