My name is Andrew and I live in Sturgeon County, Alberta, Canada. I have been living here for ten years now, born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. I did a lot of grilling and smoking meat back in NZ and I just love it. I just love the whole process, from getting the meat, to eating it with family and friends.
It has been a bit of a challenge grilling and smoking in Canada, but you adapt for some thing you love doing.
For the past nine years I have been using my BBQ for grilling and smoking. Last year my father-in-law let me use his smoker which has been a big improvement. I have been looking around and getting information about building my own smoker. I will give it a go anyway.
I purchased Smoking Meat about a year ago and joined, but this is the first time I have posted anything. The information is just fantastic and very knowledgeable. I do not have any pictures at the moment, but I will attempt them in the future.
