Hi My name is Bob and I am from Michigan. I have been smoking for some time, mostly fish , but have tried brisket and have made and smoked some polish sausage. I made my first smoker out of a 55 gallon drum, and fired it with a propane burner. This was a bit flimsy, so I sold it. Now I am in the process of building another smoker . I got a Verticle 120 Gallon Propane tank, and will start by cleaning the tank on the outside then the rest of the project will resume early next year. I am going to do the Propane burner again because it is so easy to maintain the temperature. This site seems to be a good place to seek advice and talk to others with the experience.
