Just a quick intro.
I have always enjoyed cooking. Most of it in a kitchen and the occasional straight up grilling.
Also, I get creative with food on backcountry wilderness backpacking and paddling trips. For this style, I use my dehydrator a lot.
I have stepped up my game considerably when it comes to grilling and embraced some of the new technologies. So much so, that I bought a new grill and decided it needed a home off the side of my patio.
Looking forward to new ideas and learning new things. I have heard good things about this forum and poking around a bit...I like it.

Nice set up, well for a cheesehead. 🤣. Welcome from Minnesota. You'll learn a ton of stuff here and run into a lot of enablers (you'll see what I mean soon enough). Also around here, if there isn't pictures, it didn't happen.

I don't need much encouragement. It was -4* with a -24* wind chill on Thanksgiving when I was out doing my turkey in that little shack.
A little rough getting my unit to respond, but it worked.

Winter months bring some fun challenges when it comes BBQ or smoking outside in the Midwest. I enjoy it, keeps things interesting so to speak.
