Hello all,

Been lurking here since Father's day this past June and figured I had better introduce myself eventually.

My wife bought me a Master Chef vertical smoker for Father's day this year and I've only missed a couple weekends of smoking some fabulous food for friends and family.

My name is Simon and I live in Medicine Hat, AB. I'm pushing 40 and just got into this smoking business! So far I've only missed a few weekends and I'm trying new things every time. I fear the overnight haul with this modded  smoker so I'm sticking with the 4-7 or 8 hour smokes for now! Tough to keep temp stable.

I've gained a lot of knowledge since June here and look forward to many more insightful reads!

Of course, now I need a new, bigger,  and, better smoker but I'm torn as to what to get so off to the forums I go!

Thanks for the use of the site!

Simon
