Hello everyone,

I have been browsing this forum for quite some time and have decided to register so I could interact with the community. There is a ton of great information and I have been pleased to be able to read many of the great posts. I am a former submariner of the US Navy and served for over 9 years active duty. I have been dabbling in smoking/curing meats, making jerky, meat sticks etc... By no means am I very experienced... but I intend on being there some day.
