Hello everyone, Jorgy-69 here.  I've lurked here over the last few years off and on.  I've been smoking for the last 5 years.  I have a propane vertical smoker right now.  I go through streaks of using my smoker regularly.  I will go for a few months of using it every week, then won't fire it up for a few months.  Not really sure why.  My whole family loves smoked meats, and I've never had anything "bad" from it.  Some things I wouldn't do again, but they were all good.  Brisket and pork loins are always the favorites.  I have done one fatty that was excellent, and a few that were good. I've never had much luck smoking pheasants, but don't get much practice at them.

Recently quit my job and started working from home, so I will have more time to play with my smoker.  The family is looking forward to that.  I also just bought a meat mixer and vertical sausage stuffer so making sausage will be easier.  Looking forward to getting some good new ideas for smoking.
