The food came out great...Everything from a whole pig, seafood stuffed mushrooms, beef kabobs, sausage stuffed chicken, Alligator, brisket, pastrami, cheese, and smoked bloody marys.

Myself and a couple buddies had our second annual meat smoker this weekend for the American Legion....Yes it snowed

How did it go?

By the way, who asked if it snowed?

You need to get a few miles further north for real snow. Pulaski, Sandy Creek, Parish...

Just kidding. Wecome

Holy smokes! That sounds like a feast. I'd be interested in seeing a thread describing the smoked bloody Mary's! Please, PM if you do one.

I bought a smoke infuser from Amazon and put the hose into the drink as it bubbled smoke, you could taste the smoke in the drink. also tried a smoke dome over "Fireball" but that didn't take on that much smoke flavor.

Welcome! Yeah, the snow sucked this last weekend. But, hey, where else can you have 65 on a Friday. And snow on a Saturday? Aren't we special....?

Welcome to the site, happy to have ya join up.

I am 2 1/2 hrs north of Syracuse and 1 1/2 hrs north of Watertown. Went to Lake Placid yesterday and it was snowing along the way. In a few weeks it will be warmer and the black flies will be out. Good thing is that the black flies don’t like smoke. Just another benefit of playing with your smoker. Welcome to the forum. Lots of good information here.

We moved from our farm between Auburn and Skaneateles to our North Carolina place almost two years ago. We still get snow but not like CNY and we don't miss the taxes nor the nanny state mentality.

What Legion Post? I was a member of the S-K Post on Auburn.

Two of our sons still live in/near Auburn. We used to spend a lot of time at a cabin near Big Moose Staion. Our oldest son says that the central Adirondacks have four seasons; Cold, Damn Cold, Still Cold and Black Fly.....

And you have to pressure wash the smoker after each use to keep the bears from climbing into it......
