Hello all. I was surfing the net looking for reviews on the MES 40 and came across this forum. After reading for a couple hours, bought my smoker and here I am! I do a lot of cooking, but have never had an electric smoker and though like most do...you can't smoke without fire! lol. I use what you guys call a stick burner? But with the heat here it's tough to do in the summer. I make some KILLER ribs and can't wait to see the difference with an electric. I understand that I won't get that purty smoke ring in my meat...but not sure I understand why. anyway, hello all.
