My name is Sergio and typically go by Sergio or Serg. I've been called other things but that might be a story for a different forum.
My wife recently gifted me the Brinkmann Gourmet Electric Smoker & Grill and I think I am in love. I am new to smoking meat but have been around a BBQ since I was a young lad.
I christened my smoker on New Years Eve. I decided to smoke 2x 5lbs. pork butts. 1 butt was marinated and the other had a dry rub that was suggested by our friend Flookes.
The butts went on around 8:30a and came off around 1:30p.
It was a meaty success.
I hope to learn a lot more about the Art of Smokin'.
