Hello from San Diego, CA

Hey all!  Very excited to have finally joined a smoking forum.  I'm still pretty new at smoking.  Done a couple of tri-tips over a cheap brinkmann charcoal smoker, then upgraded to a larger MasterBuilt propane smoker and also now have a Masterbuilt digital electric smoker to help manage the chamber temperature more.

Did my first pig butt a couple of months ago and it was better than any restaurant pulled pork I've ever had...of course, good BBQ in San Diego is tricky.  One of the next things I plan to try is a 13lb turkey!

Welcome to the SMF I just joined and am new to smoking but I lived out in El Cajon for 5 years  about 6 years ago and I still go out there every year to do some work on my friends planes.
