I live about right in the middle of North Dakota and I got started playing around with a smoker a couple years ago. Some things turn out great and other things need a little more practice.

I built a smoker ( I call the Smokerator ) out of an old Hotpoint fridge. I uses a 1500 watt electric element controlled by a Auberin smoker temp control and I make smoke with the Bradley biscuit smoke generator. The setup works real good. Pretty much a set it and forget it sort of thing....most of the time...

Anyhow, looking forward to learning a thing or two from your forum.

Welcome to the forums! Smokerator...very cool! Looks like a nice setup. Looking forward to seeing some of your cooks in that beast!

Happy smoking,

Red

Thanks to all!

I will provide some pictures of the "Smokerator" insides next time I get it going. Shouldn't be long, thinking it's about time for some Turkey legs!

Great to have you join us smokeinthebox, great looking smoker and :welcome1: from a fellow North Dakotan!
